What are the India e-Visa photo requirements?
JPEG format, square (equal width and height), 10KB–1MB, frontal, eyes open, no glasses, plain white or light-colored background, no shadows, no borders. This app automatically creates a file that meets these requirements.
How do I create the passport Bio Page PDF?
Simply photograph your passport photo page (Bio Page) with your camera, or select it from your photo library. The app will automatically convert it to PDF and compress it to under 300KB. You can also check a final preview to ensure text is readable.
Is photo data sent to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely on your iPhone. Face detection, background correction, PDF generation — everything runs on-device. Your photos are never sent to any server.
Does it support e-Business or e-Medical visas?
Currently, the app supports basic e-Tourist Visa use (tourism, visiting family/friends). e-Business, e-Medical, and e-Conference support is planned for future updates.
Does this app submit the visa application for me?
No. This app is a file preparation tool only. You need to submit your visa application yourself at indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/. The app does not guarantee visa acceptance or approval.
When can I apply for an e-Visa?
e-Tourist Visa (1 yr / 5 yr): 4–120 days before arrival. 30-day visa: 4–30 days before arrival. Your passport must be valid for 6+ months with at least 2 blank pages.
What are the size and format requirements?
JPEG format 10KB–1MB, pixel dimensions recommended 350×350 to 1000×1000 pixels square. The face should occupy 50–70% of the photo. This app automatically adjusts to the correct size.
Can I wear glasses?
No, wearing glasses (including sunglasses) is not allowed for e-Visa photos. Please remove glasses before taking the photo, even for vision correction.
How recent must the photo be?
Photos must be taken within the last 6 months. Using an older photo may result in rejection. This app recommends taking a new photo.
What are the background requirements?
A plain white or light-colored background is required. Shadows, patterns, or dark backgrounds may cause rejection. This app provides background whitening correction.
What are common rejection reasons?
Common reasons include: wrong size (not square), non-white background, wearing glasses, shadows, old photo, face too small/large. This app detects and warns about these issues.
What are the passport PDF size requirements?
PDF format 10KB–300KB required. Text must be clearly readable. This app compresses to under 300KB while keeping text readable.
